NOOSE

NOOSE is a four-piece British punk rock band originating from Nottingham, UK.

They deliver a classic, melodic, yet raw and energetic punk sound. Their sound is deeply rooted in traditional '70s and '80s punk rock, blended with gritty guitars, catchy hooks, and high-energy performances.

The band's roots go back to 1979, when they first formed as teenage punk fans. They later reformed in 1999 with original members Andrew "Roo" Cragg and Gary Marlow after learning how to properly play their instruments.Evolution: In 2002, Colin Smith joined as a rhythm guitarist. Over the years, the band has seen a few changes in the drum section, including a stint with Jon Morgan, former drummer of Doctor and the Medics.

The core of the band has been driven by the same lifelong friends for decades: Andrew "Roo" Cragg – Lead Vocals & Lead Guitar (Songwriter, founding member), Gary Marlow – Bass Guitar (Founding member), Colin Smith – Rhythm Guitar & Backing Vocals (Joined in 2002). While they have had different drummers over the years (such as Paul Bailey and Jon Morgan), the trio of Roo, Gary, and Colin remains the permanent driving force of the band.
