Borderline Mainstream

 

Borderline Mainstream is a hard-hitting, dirty-sounding underground Punk/Rock'n'Roll/Oi! band from Queens, New York, USA.

The project was started in July 2019 by two friends, Mike and Vinnie (originally called Two Youts). When Rob joined them on bass, Vinnie described their music as "It's like, Borderline Mainstream" - and the name stuck.

Vinnie passed away just half a year after the start, in January 2020. However, the band continued to play music in his memory and out of respect for the punk subculture. After member changes they are still active today. After Vinnie's death Stooley (drums) joined the band but was replaced by Gisel in early 2024 after filling in for their Puerto Rico debut.

Current line-up: Mike - vocals/guitar, Rob - bass/vocals, Gisel - drums/vocals.
