Frites Modern

Frites Modern were Punk band from Amsterdam, Netherlands, active from 1982-1985. Were called Duphar but changed their bandname after a while. Lyrics are in Dutch. Do their first gig in January 1982 and record 2 songs for the Als Je Haar Maar Goed Zit compilation in March 1982. The songs for the "6MET" tape were recorded as a tryout for the new 8 track in the Oktopus venue in March 1983. All of their recorded material has been re-released. Continue as Frenz Fried & The Frimo’s with a singer and play a quite different style.
