PVC were late 80’s UK DIY Hardcore Punk with a dark and nihilistic identity. A near-perfect capture of twisted and sarcastic Hardcore Punk, at times ballistic and cathartic, at others brooding and menacing. Touchstones are DEAD KENNEDYS & CRUCIFUCKS (though most reviews you’ll read will mention a heavy BLACK FLAG influence) shot through with a deliciously dark British humour, capped off with typically nihilistic artwork. PLEASANT VALLEY CHILDREN are still an outrageous slice of speedy Punk.
