46 Short is HC/Punk from Long Beach, California, United States. For years this band has been hammering out their faithful, straight ahead style of classic Hardcore Punk in the vein of Circle Jerks, Black Flag and early Poison Idea. All four members of 46 Short are Punk scene veterans who have devoted years of their lives playing in well known Punk bands, running record stores, booking tours and promoting local shows. 46 Short’s dedication to Hardcore Punk is obvious in every bashed-out drum beat, screamed lyric and brutal guitar chord. With a circle-pit inducing sound straight out of ’82 and politically/socially conscience lyrics with their sights set on today’s issues, 46 Short is destined to be a modern Hardcore/Punk classic.
