State Of Decay (UK)

 

State Of Decay is a HC/Punk band from Wales, UK, formed in late 2013, out of former members of Filthy Habits and Struck Out.

After Filthy Habits called it a day in 2013 and Struck Out disbanded in the same week, Mart and AJ were introduced via their mutual guitar tech Ed Purcell. It wasn’t long before State Of Decay was formed after jamming with Filthy Habits drummer Rich.

Jams quickly turned into whole songs with a combination of chemistry and a united direction being able to pull a whole song from nothing in less than 2 hours. The jam-songwriting ethic is a main part of State Of Decay’s sound allowing the band to retain the rawness of the track without distorting it with retrospective rewriting.

Recommended for fans of Discharge, GBH, Tragedy, & Motörhead.
