Jenny Woo is a singer/songwriter from Canada who started her Acoustic Oi! project in 2008. Folk music is music written for and by the people, and Oi! music is music written about working class values and stories from the streets. Jenny Woo thought that by writing songs infused with the themes and values of the Oi! scene on her acoustic guitar, the lyrics and the meaning of these songs would come through in a different and unique way. Since the beginning of this project, she has released 5 albums, played 500 concerst, and toured in 55 countries. The purpose of this extensive touring was to demonstrate that music and subculture break down the borders and barriers between us and inside of us.

BIRDS OF PREY

Birds Of Prey was started up by Alex (bass) and Jenny (guitar and vocals) in the Spring of 2011. They started discussing the band seriously at a Greek restaurant in Montreal one summer night, and Jonathan (drums) overheard what was the beginnings of a great Canadian Rock 'N' Roll band. He joined a few months later, and the band started jamming regularly in Montreal. They wanted to create a sound that was fresh, energetic, and that had the feel and pace of Punk but was influenced by Glam and Power Pop. The group played a few shows in Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa, and released their first 7" featuring Franky Flame in May 2012.

Jenny Woo's Holy Flame is Street Punk /Oi!  band with members from Canada and Italy. After numerous Oi! projects and various acoustic albums, Jenny has finally got new band together to deliver clean Oi! with her usual charismatic female vocals on "Hold On" 7" The snotty vocals give the whole band a special touch and Holy Flame (which incidentally consists of other top-class musicians) knows how to impress across the board!

THE CHOICES

The Choices is Jenny Woo's 77 styled Punk Rock / Power Pop band from France. The band was born in January 2019 in the Paris suburbs, a collaboration between French and Canadian fans of The Buzzcocks, The Clash, The Stooges, The Exploding Hearts and more. The sound mimics the low-energy, raw-energy riffs of pure 1970s Punk, while the harmonies and lyrics are heavily inspired by stories of love and life. The band released their debut EP "Owner Of My Heart" in November 2019 on Randale Records. If you're looking for catchy choruses, Rock 'N' Roll riffs and Punk Rock attitudes, you're in for a treat.
