VA - Epidemie

The nineties were undoubtedly a period full of peculiarity and wildness. And it was at the beginning of this period that we could see the golden era of Czech, or even Czechoslovak Punk. Bans and censorship disappeared, everyone had the opportunity to present their music, concert halls were crowded, and bands that hadn't had the chance before started releasing records. What's more, those who were previously marginalised became icons, at least for a while. Punk was experiencing unprecedented popularity, and several memorable compilations were produced during this tumultuous time. One of the most important was the "Epideme" sampler - an album that captured the raw, unstoppable spirit of the era.
