Ultimatum

Ultimatum is Street Punk band formed in 1984 in Pamplona, Spain by Oscar Arroqui "Kutxa" (vocals), Luismi "Bolitxe" (guitar), Koko (bass) and Potxeta (drums). Influenced by bands like Chaos UK, Disorder, Raw Power, Dead Kennedys or RIP themselves, they played corrosive Punk Rock without going as far as Hardcore. They rehearsed in the basement, with hardly any musical experience. They made their live debut in 1984 in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Pamplona, and from then on they played numerous concerts alongside similar groups, making a name for themselves on the Navarrese and national Punk Rock scene. In 1986, they disbanded. In 1994, Bolitxe, the original guitarist, died, a victim of the worst scourge suffered by many others in those hard years. A long time later, in 2011, Ultimatum decided to resume rehearsals for what was to be their comeback on stage, with Kutxa and Potxeta, who were accompanied by Julian on guitar and Gaizka on bass. Thus, in January 2012, they offered their first concert of this new stage in the Ake hall in Pamplona, in the heart of the Chantrea neighbourhood, where they played to a spectacular full house.
