Razorblade

Razorblade was started by Wouter (Squalor) at the end of 2001 with the purpose of making aggressive and simple Oi! music. In the beginning there was a bit of trouble finding bandmembers. But when Joost (Bassplayer of Knockdown) decided to team up with Razorblade, Wouter had found someone who was as dedicated as himself and with the same love for Oi! in his heart. Not long after Joost joined the band Ruud (Short Fused, Bronson Death Wish) came along to complete Razorblade on drums. Razorblade rehearsed the songs that Wouter wrote and at the end of 2002 Razorblade went into the Double Noise Studio (Tilburg) to record the album "Spreading Fear". The "Spreading Fear" album is a complete Oi! record with an intro and 11 tracks. One cover of Condemned 84 (Teenage Slag) and one song in the dutch language about the fucked up ways of the media (Hilversum) in Holland. All the tracks on the "Spreading fear" album have real life lyrics combined with simple, in your face music. Also the inlay is pretty basic, and that's actually the whole idea behind Razorblade, simple but effective. Razorbade is planning a cople of shows to promote the "Spreading Fear" album. Razorblade also appears on the Brabantia Nostra compilation with one unreleased track and one track of the album.
