Onza

Onza is an Asturian, Spain HC/Punk Rock band led by Pepo, the former singer of Desakato. For this project he has surrounded himself with members of well-known bands in the region such as Helltrip, Jacky Trap, One For Apocalypse, Black Horde or Sound Of Silence.

They are: Pepo - Vocals, Javi - Drums and backing vocals, Sete - Guitar, Faisán - Bass.

The name Onza alludes to a Mexican legend. It speaks of a creepy big cat that lurks in the shadows around humans, taking the unwary to devour their entrails in the darkness of the night. The starting shot was fired in 2018 with a first EP recorded at Ovni Estudio, produced by Pablo Martinez and mastered by Daniel Sevillano. After a tour to present their first work and a few years of "reflection" Onza are back with a new EP recorded at Ovni Estudio and are ready to jump on all possible stages in 2025.
