Kommando Marlies

 

In view of an inevitable climate catastrophe and the threat of a third world war, the motto "no future" seems more relevant than ever. Nevertheless, singer and guitarist Uwe Umbruch (Public Toys, The Revolvers, among others) founds Kommando Marlies together with Krolle (drums - Fahnenflucht) and Mattes (bass - Brigade S., among others). Common denominator: a clear stance against homophobia and racism and even more against conservative Punk. Musically, influences from bands such as Against Me and The Clash cannot be ignored and the whole thing is paired with direct German lyrics.
