Classified Protest

Classified Protest from South Wales came together in 1982 on the splinters of Unreal and Assault and were initially called State Of Mind. Pig Cole was on the microphone, Mark 'Wedge' Wedgebury was on drums, Andrew 'Footy' Foot played bass and Kirk Johnson was on guitar. In 1984 the guys recorded two cassette releases - "Classified Protest Demo" and "Music For The Streets", since Wedge left the band for a short period, Mark "Frankie" Fowler played drums on the demo recordings. The next tape "Out Of Sight Out Of Mind" was not released until 1987, and later the band was transformed into the new Rectify band.
