Necromancy was Hardcore / Crossover band from Davis, California. Active from the late 1980s to early 1990s. This is essential mind-blowing slice of late 80s Davis California Hardcore Punk. Originally released as demo tape in 1989. Awesome catchy Punk / Hardcore with melodic touches and hints of Crossover Thrash. The bands sound is loaded with top notch playing and passionate vocals, all held together by one of the best rhythm sections to emerge out of the Davis / Sacramento area. These songs have it all, ferociously blending elements of raging NYHC, tuneful bass driven catchy Bay Area Punk sounds and late 80s southern California melodic Hardcore. They shared the stage with all the cool bands of the day from Dr. Know, Bad Religion, Fang, Adolescents, Verbal Abuse, Youth of Today, Angry Samoans, All and 7 Seconds to many others...
