W.A.C.K. is Brazil Oi!/Street Punk band in the vein of UK Oi! bands like Cockney Rejects, Blitz, Menace and Ejected. No, they are not real Cockney Kids, they are not even English. They are from São Paulo’s industrial region called ABC, the biggest in Brazil. Those chimney stained roots, mixed with the siren coming from the factories, the gray scenery and badly played chords coming out of the streets, linked them to the alleys of East London to pay tribute to the common people, their hard lives and creativity. Identifying it as a symbol of a class in all parts of the globe. The idea for the band first came up in the end of 2011, but only took shape on the following year. Among the members is Mauro, ex-guitarist of Garotos Podres. They play straight forward songs with simple lyrics with the only intention of being the soundtrack of your good times.
