Deprived

Deprived were Anarcho Punk band from Portland, United States. Deprived existed from 1988 to 1993. Members consisted of, Mike Aragon, Tony Mengis, Todd Norin, Gary Shaw, and Kelly Halliburton. Also members included, Kevin Chuddhiy, James, Quinten Case, Sean Chuddhiy, Matt Jenkins (Bloodclots), Eric Lowell, and about a ton more. Deprived was a highly charged political Punk Rock band. Lyrics about oppression, government, nuclear war, smashing the system, police brutality, the arms race, abortion and just about anything else you can think of. Members went on to these bands: Defiance, Detestation, Masskontroll, Unamused, Resist, Obliterated, Statch & The Rapes, Corrupted, Severed Head Of State, Portland SS (The Clash tribute band), The Riffs, Warriors Of Genghis Khan, Antiworld, Procrastinators, and The Soda Pop Kids. Most all continue to play in Punk bands around Portland and are contributing to the "scene" some how. "Up The Punx!"
