The Observers

The Observers were a Punk band from Portland, Oregon, United States. The Observers play very competant Punk Rock! Yepp - little bit of wave in there, but still Punk Rock all the way! For fans of the Wipers, Dead Kennedys, LA's Youth Brigade, this band pretty much essential. Formed by Doug Burns (lead vocals and guitar) and Colin Grigson (bass), the first line-up included also Muslim (guitar) and Skeeter Joplin (drums) and were replaced by Ian Kashani on guitar and Brett Ramone on drums, successively replaced by Mike Warm. Band were active between 2002 and 2005. Members went on to form the bands Red Dons and Defect Defect.
