Section 5

Section 5 is an old English band that was formed in 1981 and has been playing Oi!/Street Punk since its beginnings. It should be noted that Street Punk of the old style, not the kind that was popular from the 90s onwards. Their music is melodic, generally mid-tempo and most importantly the individual musicians are quite skilled within the style they play. All of this makes for honest and enjoyable music that will please anyone who has this music in their blood. The heavy boots, the anti-racist attitude and for example the hit song "England" will clearly prove to you that the English still can, they have this style somehow under their skin. Listening to it, you can imagine a classic British pub, where a bunch of bald dudes with older date of production hold glasses full of beer, shouting the glory of their home football club and together with the band they are chanting the refrains of each song like "Oi! Not Politics".
