Familia Real was Spanish Punk band from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canarias, active around 1981-1983.

Cult band, true pillar of Canarian Punk music. There are several factors that make Familia Real an authentic cult band. They made Punk in the 80s from the Canary Islands (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, to be more precise), where they never left to play live, they adopted the ways and attitudes of a band that was a reference point for them - Sex Pistols - with performances that ended up being on many occasions more than a simple music concert, they had a particularly short career, a consequence of the speed at which they lived at that time, and they left a single single album with two songs that is currently a highly prized collector's item with exorbitant prices on the specialised market.
