The Trade

The Trade is a Dutch-British project featuring Lliam (guitar in Close Combat and Priorities), Ronny (drums in The Reapers, Discharger) and Tom (Hard Wax, Hostile Minds, Arch Rivals) and this is their debut single. Apparently this project has been under consideration for about two years and this is the result. Two English songs "All Grown Up" and "The Chosen Few" on a record that is limited to 300 pieces (100 white and 200 black). Tom's signature from Hard Wax can be heard a lot here, especially in the second song "The Chosen Few" which is more into Bovver Rock and starts with a muted guitar that goes into a cool guitar beats. The first one, on the other hand, has an absolutely great chorus. Both songs are lyrically classic/cliched about the Skinhead way of life. The cover art is simply done in black and white. These two songs really don't get old.
