Sex Beat

Sex Beat is Punk band from Berlin, Germany. Driving drums, distorted bass lines and noisy guitars, Sex Beat is the last snotty farewell to a generation going down the drain. Sex Beat unleash an unbridled fury, original songwriting, blunt cynicism and an energetic live show. Sex Beat interprets Punk with an awareness of history with a wide range of influences that range from Oblivians to Suicide to Hot Snakes. The sound is based on the 90s sound of the Dischord catalog: bass and drums push forward, guitar and vocals vomit in between. The songs sometimes sound very fragmented and mechanical, sometimes worked out in detail, but always direct and blunt. The lyrics are about everything that annoys you: broken politics, broken society and all the little broken things inside yourself.
