With deep roots in the early 80s hardcore and anti-racist skinhead Oi! scenes, Regress 86 blends primitive fury, politically charged lyrics, and a live-in-the-studio recording approach that captures the gritty energy of a bygone era.

Formed by longtime punk and Oi! scene veterans, the band draws inspiration from legendary acts like Circle Jerks, Black Flag, Negative Approach, SSD, and Antidote. Primitive Stomp is their debut full-length - recorded in one shot to preserve that chaotic urgency and imperfections that defined hardcore’s earliest years.

This album combines caveman-level stomp riffs with heavy anti-capitalist themes, union support anthems, and critiques of modern tech overlords and conspiracy culture. Regress 86 may be a new name, but the spirit behind them is decades old - and it comes out swinging.
