Flores Y Fuego

Flores Y Fuego is a Hardcore Punk band from Guadalajara, Mexico, fueled by anger and disgust with today's society, their lyrics provoke an examination of the modern world and the space in which they exist, while fighting to give a voice to the voiceless within this society. The project began as a collaboration between Rafael and Eduardo from the band "Cuchillo" towards the end of 2019 and by May 2020, Melisa is applying lyrics and soul to the collection of instrumentals, increasing the attitude and energy within their first recordings. Flores Y Fuego have a raw Punk sound although they can't really limit themselves by genre, instilling their music with outside elements and influences, they use their platform to talk about everyday life and their frustrations with it. They share a unique point of view, with their social critique vocalised by Melisa and her razor sharp perspective, both as a woman and as an individual. And now, with the eyes of the world on the Hardcore scene more and more these past few years, new bands continue to make waves and break down what can be considered hardcore today.
