Beaver
In 1981, if you were trawling for Hardcore 7’’ records that had more than three songs per side, chances are you ran across a strange looking EP by DC’s ominously-monikered Beaver, perhaps the weirdest hardcore record in existence then. Its 19 songs were played at an extreme, breakneck speed rife with dense production, odd time signatures, and Metal and Reggae breakdowns, not exactly standard fare. This record marks future Government Issue guitarist Tom Lyle’s debut recording.
