Sadistic Exploits

Sadistic Exploits was an American Hardcore Punk band which existed in the early to mid-1980s. They released an 7inch titled ''Anarchy For Freedom'' in 1982. Inspired by UK anarchists Crass, the Philadelphia band was formed in late 1980 during the formative years of Philly's Hardcore Punk scene. Unfortunately due to members coming and going they were never able to realize their full potential as the best band from Philly. Founding members Brian Lathrop, vocals, Pedrick, guitar, and Robbie, bass, were initially joined by drummer Miguel Gonzalez and hailed for incendiary live shows by local fanzines and WXPN radio jock Lee Paris. Gonzalez was replaced in the late summer of 1981 by Howard. The "Sploits" recorded their debut EP with this harder and tighter line-up.
