Big Balls & The Great White Idiot

Big Balls & The Great White Idiot were one of the first, best known and most notorious German Punk bands, these fellows definitely had the spirit, with a singer who impersonated Hitler on stage (sporting a swastika armband and a fake moustache). Their debut is great snotty Punk. After the second LP, Foolish Guys, they moved from a major label to their own, Balls Records. During this period they moved away from a straight Punk sound and began putting on plays, including such unlikely adaptations of Medea (by Euripides) and Titus Andronikus. In 1989 they wrote the script for the musical Alec in Wonderland and went into hibernation soon after. The late 90s' saw the band reform, record the soundtrack for The Big Waltz film, and team up with actor Jan Fedder for new records.
