The Traditionals

The Traditionals started playing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1997 with the intention of playing working class punk rock music and having a good time each week when we get together. Influenced by old and new street punk bands the Traditionals carved out a sound of their own. Despite some member changes over the years the band has been running continuously for the last 15 years. The Traditionals have released 5 full length LPs, the latter 4 on Impact Records from Duisburg, Germany, and are featured on many street-punk compilations such as Garry Bushell's heavily anticipated "30 Years Of Oi!" compilation on Contra Records. The band has toured in the East Coast United States in 1999 and in Europe in 2006 and in 2011 to promote their latest album "Steel Town Anthems". The band has also been featured on such festivals as the 2000 and 2001 Beer Olympics, Holidays In The Sun 2002, Dirty South Fest, 2000 Tons Of TNT Fest and more. The members are Dave Harris on vocals and guitar, Joe Harris on drums, AJ Falcione on guitar and Matt Janitor on bass guitar. Over the last 12 years, brother's and founding member's Dave and Joe Harris, have kept the band playing continuously despite some line-up changes. Former members were Matt Massoco (97-98), Donovan Greenway (97-2000), Craig Bolton (97-2007, and Rob Faulkner (2001-2008).
