The Two Step Goodbyes

The Two Step Goodbyes are a psychobilly/ garage-punk/ rock’n’roll band from Stoke-on- Trent, UK.

Fusing classic psychobilly style with raucous riffs and pounding tribal drums, the result is a gumbo of rock ’n’ roll noise with twang and bang!

Like all the best villains; every band needs a back-story, but The Two Step Goodbyes were not formed in a laboratory, resurrected from the dead or summoned through some ancient arcane ritual. Instead, their tale begins on the shadowy streets of Stoke-on-Trent where the three-piece formed a sinister plot to unleash a mutant strain of punk and psychobilly on the world.

Armed with guitars, drums and upright bass, they were inspired by the darker moments of rock and roll history as they began crafting their own unholy mixture of raucous riffs and jackhammer rhythms.

For the next few months, the band let loose this new sound they had created, sharing the stage with many of the bands that had started the fire. Venue after venue was torn apart by the trio with their high energy live show and the lyrical fixation on horror and the bleaker side of humanity. As word started to spread of this new impending terror, the band retreated to the studio to record 2018’s “10,000 Volts” EP.

In the aftermath of the EP, they spent 12 months gigging and focused on concocting yet another batch of infectious, reckless rock and roll with the aim of reaching more unsuspecting victims.
