Puraposse
Puraposse is a melodic HC/Street Punk band from Salvatierra/Agurain, Basque Country. After debuting in 2017 with “Etiqueta Negra”, Puraposse returned to the fray with “Sírvase”. What was born as a parallel band of the Aguayo brothers (the two guitarists of Kaotiko) returns in this second record installment as a quartet, with Aguayo out of the formation and Aguayiko assuming the rhythm guitar (in addition to continuing to lead vocals). . Zelayika on bass and Jokin on drums continue to accompany him, with Erik as the latest signing on lead guitar and backing vocals. Twelve new cuts of melodic and catchy punk rock, with a scratchy voice but well sung. Touches of hardcore and metal, but also with room for acoustic guitars and mid-tempos in the ballad “Sentidos”. However, they are songs like "Las Calles" (chosen to open the album and also as the first single), "Rock And Roll" (ode to the music they defend written by the singer of Benito Kamelas, Joaquín) or "Punky Contento" (where they rescue old lapidary phrases from the anti-fascist imaginary) those who best define the band. Distortion everywhere, fast rhythms, choruses full of choruses and declarations of principles.
