Reaction, full on spirit of 77 Punk Rock, New Wave of the Old Wave, from the United Kingdom. Taking their early Punk Rock influences (The Damned, Heartbreakers, Sex Pistols) and adding them to several decades of exposure to everything else musical and otherwise, Accelerator is fourteen tracks of explosive energy, surreal lyrics and the amphetamine buzz of classic Garage Punk. There’s a Dub mix in their too. Not your typical generic Punk album, then. Having grown bored with the boots and beer-song Punk of much of the local scene, Reaction have tried to add some much-needed depth to the Punk Rock that inspired them as youths.
