Husbands N Knives were born from a longing to channel that loud, gobby ugly sister whose feet are too big for the glass slipper and who, instead of marrying the Prince, would rather drink Buckfast and listen to Penetration. We wanted to create a space where the Riot Grrrl DIY spirit of the 90s would meet the beefier, more classical sound of bands like Betty Blowtorch and L7. A band that would marry gritty poetry with tongue-in-cheek punk farce and would appeal to the disheveled, the hormonal, the dreamers and the underdogs out there… So here's our raw, sleazy, off tune, edgy, political, witchy, PMS fuelled take on oldschool Riot Grrrl Punk.. Formed in 2008, the fire has been raging ever since...
