The Clichés

The Clichés is an Oi!/Street Punk band from Norrköping, Sweden.

Est. 2003 in the city of Norrköping when the two original members D. Cliché and K. Cliché wanted an excuse to get drunk in the studio. They actually managed to record some tunes and the debut album "No justice, just us..." was released on Bandworm two years later. After a few years of drunken nights abroad they came back to Sweden with a bunch of riffs and lyrics scribbled down on napkins and beer coasters. It was time to hit the studio once more. This time the decided to bring in another person to the madness. T. Cliché sat down behind the drums and participated in the recording of the 2009 hit album Monkey See, Monkey Do. The album did great and just as they were thinking about hitting the stage, K. Cliché went on a long term vacation from the band. The Clichés found his match in Z. Cliché and the same year they did their first live appearance at Randale Records resident in southern Germany. Since then they have released some more vinyls, toured Europe, done gigs with bands like Hard Skin, Templars, The Business, Major Accidents, Angelic Upstarts and Superyob to name a few well known acts.
