Contemptuous

Contemptuous was an Oi!/street punk band from Stockholm,  Sweden. They started out in 2003 as a five piece outfit by members from bands such as The Righteous, Östermalm Boys, Frontlash, Stockholm Celtics & Bellary. The band  later a four piece (Robert - vox & Guitar, Radar - guitar, Peter - bass, Martin - drums), and have played with the likes of Lars Frederiksen & the Bastards, Los Fastidios, the Business and SMZB to name a few. Despite having recorded quit a lot, the releases are easily counted: one song at the "Brewed In Sweden Vol. 3" compilation, and a split CD shared with fellow band Royal Stakeout - both on Kjell Hell Records. Contemptuous played their last show ever 2006-11-18, at Stomp-It, Alcazar, Stockholm. Even though our ordinary drumplayer Martin called in sick a few hours before the gig, Contemptuous got on stage with Johan from Antipati and Headed For Disaster as stand-in. In 2008 released their (posthumus) debut full-lenth album on french label Narayan Records titled "For The Lot Of You". Robert and Radar are now playing with Antipati.
