Duralix

Duralix was formed in 2008, featuring members Rene Hernandez, Brian Lanzarotto and Mike Colon. Mike met Brian through a comrade by the name of Richard Handwratty in 2006. Rene was introduced a couple months later after getting out of the U.S. Navy. Rene and Brian eventually formed Mad Bomber, and Mike formed The Tone Junkies. Mad Bomber eventually came to an end, so Mike recruited Rene to play bass in Tone Junkies. Mike, Rene and Brian ended up jamming together, and Duralix was born... As a 3 piece, Duralix played all over Southern Cali with a variety of bands, such as English Beat, Berlin, Narcoleptic Youth, UK Subs, Agent Orange, D.I... the list goes on. But as it goes, Duralix ended up becoming a 4 piece in 2010 with the addition of Jon Serfozo on bass and moving Rene to 2nd guitar. "Duralix" self titled record was finally released in winter 2010.
