The Class War Kids

The Class War Kids was a punk rock band from St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. They playing über-catchy, melodic, politically-charged, socially-conscious, activist posi-punk, The Class War Kids take a page out of Propagandhi's "How To Clean Everything" era and bring things forward a little bit.  In the span of 2008 to 2010, the band released two full length albums and an EP and also toured their native Canada twice and went on a 10 week tour across Western Europe.  On these tours, the band demonstrated their knack for entertaining just about any crowd, with their spastic stage maneuvers and excellent vocal harmonies.  In fact, on their first tour, lead singer Patty incurred a broken leg after attempting to jump-kick off a wall (which, sadly for Patty, broke through). 

Leaving a lasting impression, the band is now on hiatus as of Fall 2010, with 3 out of 4 members active in the band "Brutal Youth," located in South-Western Ontario.
