The Von Rebels

The Von Rebels were a Canadian punk rock band based in Montreal, Quebec. The band was formed in 2012.

They blended elements of Punk Rock, hard rock, and classic rock 'n' roll into a highly energetic, loud, and aggressive hybrid style often described as "speed rock.

The band emerged from the underground clubs and dive bars of Montreal. Its members were veterans of the local and New York punk scenes, having previously played in bands like The Heroin Hayride, Shifter, and The Turbo A.C.'s.

Their sound was defined by fast tempos, a massive "wall of sound" created by driven tube amplifiers, and a raw, uncompromising volume.

Following the release of "Killing Machine" album in late 2016, the band remained active for only a very short time. They played a handful of local promotional club shows in the Montreal area, but by 2017, the project ground to a virtual halt. The band has been completely inactive since 2017 and is considered defunct.
