The Reapers
Dutch Street Punk outfit The Reapers from Utrecht/Rotterdam deliver tight, upbeat mix of melodic Street Punk/Skinhead Rock 'N' Roll in line with The Beltones, The Bruisers, The Bodies and more classic Oi!/New Wave like Blitz, combined with brutal Oi! vocals that remind of Combat 84, Loikaemie and The Templars. Forged out of the ashes of Discharger in 2016, when Tim Steinfort moved to the Czech Republic to form Haymaker, Ronny Hamersma, Gwenn Neuteboom and Richard van de Waerdt decided that they weren't through with making music. After a couple of rehearsels The Reapers were born. After a while they were joined by Jesse Keyzer (The Patrons, Stealers) on rythm guitar, so they were now a four piece Streetrocking Punk band. Recorded on Rebellion Records "Rip It Up" was a monster debut album with very good reviews. Jesse left the band short after it's release and was replaced by Joery Arlar, also ex-Discharger and in this formation a lot of gigs were played. In 2019 the band also recorded three songs for the Oi! Ain't Dead 7 sampler alongside bands like Savage Beat, Live By The Sword, Complaint and Razorblade. Joery eventually left the band and was replaced by Jilles de Waard.
Only one year after the release of "Rip It Up" the band recorded and released their latest record, "Kill 'Em All"(Rebellion Records, 2020).
