Kassengipht

Kassengipht is Street Punk/Oi! band from Munich, Germany. Real music is not perfect, it is the sound of the street - made in the dirt! And that is exactly the music from Kassengipht - pure, dirty, ruthlessly honest Punk! But not only dirt can be heard, but also profound texts that sometimes deal with rather unusual topics. The formation of the band was, especially for a Punk band, quite unusual - namely through a personal ad. But it quickly became clear that both human and rhythmic movements were on the same wavelength. This is how it started in 2015, even if the name Kassengipht came about much later. The musical direction, however, was clear from the start: ...just Punk Rock, but different! In terms of lyrics, apart from the (almost obligatory) songs about beer consumption, alcohol and drinking, this genre also deals with rather unusual topics. Songwriter Sascha pays special attention to the formulations, which move on a significantly higher level and also do not ignore the pun. "Rhyme you or I'll eat you" is not found here! In 2019 the 3 guys decided to record a record and found in Hicktown Records not only a studio that wanted good, handmade, honest Punk and that's why they were signed immediately. With their debut album Reizend, Kassengipht do not want to redefine Punk Rock, but they definitely want to bring a breath of fresh air into the genre and they have managed to do that pretty well so far.
